Instructions

  1. Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk (plant-based), vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), salt, pepper, and natural gelling agent until fully combined to form a smooth egg base.
  2. Cook the Smoked Turkey Bacon: Chop the smoked turkey bacon into small pieces and lightly cook in a non-stick pan over medium heat until just crispy. Allow it to cool slightly before adding to the egg mixture.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Stir the cooked turkey bacon, plant-based cheese, and any optional fresh herbs or vegetables evenly into the egg mixture.
  4. Prepare the Molds: Lightly grease silicone egg bite molds with oil or non-stick spray. Pour the mixture into each mold, filling about three-quarters full to allow for expansion during cooking.
  5. Pressure Cook in Instant Pot: Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot’s base and place a trivet inside. Set the filled silicone molds on the trivet carefully. Seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 9 minutes followed by a natural pressure release for 10 minutes.
  6. Cool and Serve: Remove the molds from the Instant Pot, let the egg bites cool for a few minutes, then gently pop them out. They are ready to enjoy.
