Knead the mixture until you obtain a smooth, elastic dough. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
- Make the Filling: While the dough is rising, mix the brown sugar, natural cinnamon, and softened plant-based butter together until a rich, spreadable cinnamon sugar filling is formed.
