Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Warm the plant-based milk slightly and dissolve the active dry yeast with a pinch of sugar. Let it sit until frothy to activate the yeast. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, brown sugar, plant-based butter, and vanilla extract (natural). Slowly add the yeast mixture and mix until a smooth dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes until elastic and soft.
- First Rise: Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Roll Out and Add Filling: Once the dough has risen, roll it into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Spread melted plant-based butter evenly over the dough.
