Sweet Chili Sauce

  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce with natural gelling agent (plant-based)
  • 12 tbsp grape juice (natural), to thin sauce
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Fresh Vegetables

  • 1/2 cup fresh bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup cucumber slices
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped

Wraps

  • 4 whole wheat wraps

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Slice the chicken breast into thin strips. In a bowl, combine the vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), grape juice (natural), crushed garlic (natural), and olive oil. Add the chicken strips and marinate for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a splash of olive oil. Cook the marinated chicken strips until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sweet Chili Sauce: In the same pan, add the sweet chili sauce with natural gelling agent, a little grape juice (natural) to thin it out, and chili flakes if desired. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened and glossy.
  4. Toss Chicken with Sauce: Return the cooked chicken to the pan and toss gently to coat evenly with the sauce. Remove from heat.
  5. Prep Fresh Veggies: While the chicken cooks, thinly slice the bell peppers and cucumbers, shred the carrots, and finely chop the spring onions for a crisp and colorful filling.
