Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté finely chopped onions and garlic until fragrant and translucent. Add chopped smoked turkey bacon and cook until slightly crispy. - Cook the Noodles. If using regular lasagna noodles, boil them in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and separate with a little oil or parchment paper to prevent sticking. If using no-boil noodles, use them directly according to package instructions.
- Assemble Your Layers. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of the sauce at the bottom of a baking dish to prevent sticking. - Bake to Perfection. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. Allow the lasagna to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to help it set for easier serving.
