  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (plant-based)
  • 2 tbsp hot cocoa mix (natural)
  • 1 tsp natural sweetener (maple syrup or agave)
  • Optional spices: 1/4 tsp cinnamon (natural), 1/8 tsp cardamom (natural)

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (plant-based) for peanut butter swirl
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (natural) for spiced delight

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Shells: Melt the plant-based chocolate slowly using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts. Using a silicone mold designed for spheres, coat the insides evenly by brushing or spooning melted chocolate. Let them set at room temperature or in the fridge until fully hardened.
  2. Fill the Bombs: Once the shells are firm, remove them gently from the molds. Fill half of the spheres with a mixture of natural hot cocoa powder, mini marshmallows, hot cocoa mix, natural sweetener, and any optional spices or mix-ins you prefer.
  3. Seal the Bombs: Warm the rim of an empty half-sphere on a warm plate or pan. Carefully press it onto a filled half-sphere, sealing the edges together. Chill the combined bombs until fully set and firm.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Place a Hot Chocolate Bomb in a mug and pour hot plant-based milk over it. Watch the shell melt and release the cocoa mix and marshmallows, creating a warm, comforting, and rich chocolate drink.
