Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Cook pasta al dente according to package instructions, then drain and set aside. Finely chop mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cut smoked turkey bacon into small pieces and shred or cube the cooked chicken.
  2. Cook the Aromatics and Bacon: In a large skillet, melt plant-based butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent. Add turkey bacon pieces and cook until they release a smoky aroma and begin to crisp slightly.
  3. Make the Creamy Sauce: Sprinkle flour over the cooked onions and bacon, stirring constantly to form a roux. Slowly whisk in plant-based milk and chicken broth, stirring smoothly to avoid lumps. Stir in vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural) and cook while stirring until the sauce thickens. Add the natural gelling agent gradually, stirring to reach perfect sauce consistency.
