Scale
Juices and Liquids
- 1 cup fresh blood orange juice
- 1 cup cranberry juice (100% pure, no added sugar)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 to 2 tablespoons agave syrup (natural), to taste
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups sparkling water
Fresh Herbs and Natural Enhancers
- 8–10 fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon natural gelling agent (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Juices: Freshly squeeze blood oranges to collect about 1 cup of juice. Measure out 1 cup of cranberry juice ensuring it is 100% pure with no added sugars or preservatives.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the blood orange juice, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice. Stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons of agave syrup (natural) gradually until you reach your desired level of sweetness. If you want extra texture, sprinkle in a small amount of natural gelling agent and stir well.
- Add Fresh Mint: Lightly bruise the fresh mint leaves by clapping them between your hands or gently crushing, then add them to the pitcher. This releases their aroma and infuses a refreshing herbal note into the mocktail.
- Chill and Add Sparkling Water: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend thoroughly. Just before serving, gently stir in the sparkling water to add a bubbly, light finish to the drink.
Notes
- Use freshly squeezed blood orange juice for the best flavor and natural sweetness.
- Adjust agave syrup (natural) gradually to balance sweetness without overpowering the tartness.
- Keep juices chilled before mixing to maintain a cool, refreshing drink without diluting it.
- Use fresh spearmint or peppermint leaves for the most vibrant mint flavor; avoid dried leaves.
- Serve immediately after adding sparkling water to enjoy maximum fizz.
